I'd also like to know of some good exercises to learn psychometry. I've tried psychometry in the past and haven't really received an pertinent information on the person. I've also tried looking into the surface of water with no results. This is what I've looked up on line: "Psychometry is a psychic ability in which a person can sense or "read the history of an object by touching it. Such a person can receive impressions from an object by holding it in his/her hands or perhaps, touching it to the forehead. Such impressions can be perceived as images, sounds, smells, tastes - even emotions."
"Psychometry is a form of scrying a psychic way of "seeing" something that is not ordinarily seeable. Some people can scry using a crystal ball, black glass or even the surface of water. With psychometry, this extraordinary vision is available through touch." |

Hi Paul-
I tried this thing with the crystal ball.
You must stare into it, but relaxed... with time goes by you will see that the room will take course in your direction.. that is the case, when your conciousness will jump into it and then you will get results..
I read this in the internet, but as the room came up to me (the picture increased and you feel that all is moving in your direction and you get the feeling of floating, too- I stopped and never tried this again). If you can manage this you will see at first fog or clouds in it ... but they say it is difficult to learn than with water.....my opinion... try try try .. that's all so amazing!! I recognized at this day.. that our brain is really a tool - not to think about something and to remember - but to create und to take information- because all is around - it is just the way we press the buttom.. at first we have to know about that all is a data stream- where we can take and give and about the amount of data, too..
With the mirror it is much easier for me.. I stare relaxed into it.. and wait - you will see the picture changes.. be careful - it could be something you are not expecting!!! First I saw my blank skull !!!! Next... fog.. next me with 45 then as a boy with 15.. I don't know what is all about.. but this is an ability I have learned throught a coincidence .. never read something about it or that someone hat told me.. I guess there is a teacher around me... sometimes I get the answer after the experience after my question "Why"... |

| Psychometry is something anyone can do if you put your mind to it, have someone put a photo in an envelope (that you cannot see through) and that they know details about so they can say yes or no to when you pick up things from holding the envelope. What I would do is; firstly put it up to my 3rd eye for a few mins asking to be given information of what is in the picture in the envelope, then hold it between the palms of my hands, running one hand palm over the envelope in circular movements then as you see or sence anything just say the first thing that comes into your mind i.e Ok, I feel this picture is of a man ,I see him stood by a bridge, if you feel there is an air about him sad / happy then say how you feel he feels in the picture, look around the picture to give minor details that you see in your minds eye. This is an easy workable exercise,it is also worth having someone else to record the yes's you found as this goes to boost your confidence, when you are ready, move onto other objects, i.e flower reading, rings and things treasured by people. To read flowers, if you are in a group situation each member brings a flower picked and touched only by them, no one must see who brought which one so hide them away and each would go to where a tray has been placed and you put your flower with the others, it doesn't matter if some one else brought the same flower, the group leader goes to get the tray and places it in a table within the group, when you have done your medi or whatever your leader should invite one of you up to choose a flower but not your own, hold the flower in your hands to your 3rd eye if you want to too, and look around the room to where you feel the person is that brought that flower, looking at the flower notice its petals, stamens, stem, back of the flower leaves too and not forgetting the colour and scent, then look at the group who do you feel resembles the flower, believe me we do portray a lot of ourselves in our choices. Let me know how you get on. or if you want to know anything. Chikala mato |

| It would be better and more challenging to start with a photograph that someone knows about reason being postcards will either have grass, sand, buildings, windmills on so not really taxing. If you are running or in a group have each person put a photograph in an envelope (they must know who is in it, about the surroundings and what it means to them), pop them all in a bag and each drops the envelop in the bag, then its a lucky dip, as you hold the picture you relate what you feel out loud as you start be looking around to see who you feel drawn to. (am i repeating myself ? ) CM |
